Prayer at Unity of the Lakes is key to our individual understandings of God, as well as ourselves.

We begin each Service with an Opening Statement and prayer:
There is only one presence and one power in my life and in the Universe, God the Good, Omnipotent.

During the Service, we recite the Lord's Prayer:
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our debts as we also have forgiven our debtors. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory forever. Amen.

We open ourselves to Special Prayers, joys and concerns, in conjunction with our Prayer Box. All written prayers put into the Prayer Box are sent to Silent Unity, at the Unity Headquarters in Unity Village, to be prayed over continuously for thirty days. We then open ourselves to a prayer and affirmation for Unity of the Lakes:
Unity of the Lakes is a radiating center of Divine Love attracting like-minded people.

We open our Love Offering with the prayer:
Divine love through me blesses and multiplies all that I have, all that I give and all that I receive.

We close each Service with:

The Prayer for Protection
The Light of God surrounds Us;
The Love of God enfolds Us;
The Power of God protects Us;
The Presence of God watches over Us;
Wherever we are, God Is.
